For the purpose of entry into Norway, the Norwegian government defines a full-time resident as someone who:
- has a temporary or permanent residence permit in Norway, or
- has the right of residence as an EU/EEA citizen or family member of an EU/EEA citizen in Norway
As of May 21st, it will no longer be required to be listed in the Norwegian population registry.
Unsure? It’s best to call the official hotline (+47 21 93 78 40) and confirm you’re able to enter based on your situation.
